Try to be the Rainbow in someone else's cloud.

I believe that prayer for self and others is essential to living a good life.
I believe that every person can learn, but that we all do so at different rates and in different ways.
I believe that everyone has a gift that God has given him/her to use to serve Him and make the world a better place.
I believe that kindness, love, forgiveness, and compassion are just as beneficial for the giver as they are for the receiver and should be shared as often as possible.
I've earned honors degrees from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in Elementary Education, Duquesne University in Instructional Technology, and Carlow University in High Performance Learning and Leadership.
My Pennsylvania education certifications are in: Kindergarten-6th grade, Instructional Technology Specialist, Middle Level: Math, Science, Civics Education, and Language Arts, English 9-12, and Administration PreK-12.
I have been teaching for a long time and have had the opportunity to teach many students and subjects in a variety of schools and settings.
I have been nominated by parents for the Golden Apple Award five times.
Next to God, my family is the most important thing in my life. They mean the world to me. My family is pretty small but very full of love.
I LOVE animals! I grew up with a dog named Puffy who was not puffy at all. haha My brother got to name her. I now share Sunshine with my mom. I have adopted guinea pigs and rabbits in the past and currently have two cats, Benny and Joon, who I call my "One-eyed Wonders" because they are each missing their right eye. Don't worry though, it doesn't seem to bother them a bit.
I enjoy a good cup of coffee occasionally. (Grounds and Hounds is my favorite because they donate money to help animals.)
I think dark chocolate candy and chocolate cake should be considered food groups. (Haha, just kidding, but they are amazing!)
When I have time, I enjoy reading, painting (though I wouldn't consider myself an artist), doing crafts, and working with wood.
I absolutely love teaching and get great joy from working with my students.
Sunshine: She's the dog I share with my mom. She's 14 years old now.
Benny and Joon: My two little one-eyed wonders who were adopted from Animal Friends on 9/1/19.
Here's Benny (the apricot one) and Joon (the mostly white one) all grown-up.
