Tool doesn't trigger any sensors.
-Make sure the Market is set to North America/America/US. This can be found in the settings of the device.
2. The Market is correct on the tool but it wont trigger any sensors.
-In this instance the OE part number might differ in the tool or the vehicle selection is not correct. Please use https://www.dillvalves.com/ to check OE part number and compare them in the tool. (DO NOT SHARE THIS SITE INFO WITH CUSTOMER)
3. Can not program sensors.
-Find out what brand the sensors are. Our TPMS tools can only program our Autel MX sensors but we can trigger and relearn any brand sensor as long as that sensor is pre-programmed.
4. Can not program Autel MX Sensors.
-The tool must be up to date. Please follow the guides below to assist the customer to update the tool. (Tool must be registered prior to update)
5. Tool was just updated and now vehicles are missing.
-Please make sure the market is set to North America/America/US. This can be changed in the tool's setting option located under "my device".
6. I did an OBD relearn but it failed or the TPMS light won't turn off.
-Please verify the make of the vehicle if it is a Domestic or European vehicle they might not work with OBD relearns. Domestic vehicles use stationary relearns and European vehicles use automatic relearns.
7. I am trying to program sensors but it keeps saying TPMS PROG LIMIT (-8).
-This indicates there is air in the tire. Please deflate the tire to be under 10 pounds (PSI) and try to program the sensor again.
8. The tool keeps asking me for a spare but I don't have a sensor in the spare.
-Walk 10 feet away from the vehicle. Press the trigger option on the tool. Right away press the N button. This will put a red X on the spare letting you bypass it.
9. When I choose the vehicle in the tool it goes straight to a relearn procedure and doesn't let me scan any sensors.
-Newer vehicles might have an indirect system. In this setup there are no TPMS sensors in the traditional sense to scan. Just air the tire and follow the relearn instructions on the screen. You can verify if this vehicle has an indirect system when picking the year of the vehicle on the tool or by going to https://www.dillvalves.com/ (DO NOT SHARE THIS SITE INFO WITH CUSTOMER)
