1. Not receiving a verification code, when trying to register.

-Make sure to check your personal email inbox. If you don't see it there, check your spam or junk folders.

2. Can not find your tools register password? 

-Go into the tools settings or setup, then about screen. The Maxisys Elite, it is found in the Maxisys app/ settings/ about. Most of the code readers will not have one, because they don't require registration. 

3. Having trouble signing into your account, right after you created it and its saying wrong password?

-Make sure the customer is using their actual email they registered with and not the username to sign in. 

4. When trying to update my tool, I keep receiving a authorization failed message or network error. 

-Usually this message will appear when a business has their firewall configured and restricted to protect them. Have them try to connect to a different network or hotspot to determine if that is the issue. 

5. Updates keep failing when updating my tool through maxi pc suite. 

-Usually this is caused by another device plugged in at the same time with some type of memory storage. You can have the Autel tool, mouse and keyboard connected. Their must be no external hard drives, cell phones, SD cards, or thumb drives connected at the same time. 

6. You just updated your TPMS tool, and now your missing cars you had before and you can't trigger any sensor. 

-Whenever you have completed a update on a Autel TPMS tool. Go into the settings or "My Device" option. Make sure the option that says Market is set to America. 

7. Customer registered their tool and they are trying to update, but the Maxi PC Suite says it cant find their device. 

-Some tools have to be in "Update mode", in order for the maxi PC Suite to recognize the tool. Other tools have removable SD cards that have to be inserted into the PC or with a USB card reader.  Some have both options. 

8. You were updating your tool with maxilink II, afterwards the screen has gone completely white. 

- The problem your having is usually a result of this. When you try to do the update you are only doing one update file. If you look in the MaxiLinkII you will see there are 2 boxes one is a program update box and below it is a DTC update. When you download the update file you see there is 2 files one is a BIN and one is a AUT file. The BIN goes in the top box and the AUT file goes in the bottom box. You have to do both updates before unplugging the tool. 

So open the MaxiLinkII program and select your tool on the left side of the screen. Put in the .bin file in the top box by selecting "select file" and then put the AUT file in the bottom box by selecting "select file" Then make sure the tool is unplugged from the PC. Hold down the left arrow and while holding it down plug it into the PC this will put the tool in program mode. The red box on top of the Maxi Link II program will turn green once that happens click the update button in the first box and after it finishes click the update button on the bottom box. After that finishes its complete.     

9. If a customer calls in, and they  ask if they can update their DS708? 

-You have to look up their serial number in the system. If the tool expired on 1/1/15 or after, they can receive the last updates that were released for free using the DS708 Updater. If their SD card needs to be upgraded, they can go up to a 16GB SD card.
