This manual is intended to show AISD library staff how to do various day to day functions within WorkFlows. If you can not find what you are looking for, please contact the LMC for further assistance.
Logging In
1. If using a library circulation computer, log into Windows with the checkout account. Only log in using your E number when using a computer nobody else will access.
User: library(three letter school code) libraryxxx
Password: (three letter school code capitalized)XXXck0ut
2. Open the WorkFlows Staff Client. If you are opening WorkFlows and not connected to an AISD network, you must run the VPN client before opening WorkFlows. See the VPN portion of the "Remote Worksite" page on the AISD website if you need help with VPN
3. If asked for the IP Address, type in “sirsi” and deselect "Show this window on next startup"
4. Log in using the “CIRC” username and password
User: J(three letter code)CIRC
Password: JCIRC(three number code)
Basic Terms
SirsiDynix - The vendor that provides AISD's Integrated Library System (ILS)
Symphony - The name of the ILS used by AISD provided by SirsiDynix
WorkFlows - The staff client AISD library staff use to access Symphony
catalog.austinisd.org - The name of the online public access catalog (OPAC) used by AISD students/staff/families
Within WorkFlows
Groups--Tasks grouped together by purpose/function
Wizard--The specific task being performed
Helper--Icons within wizards to help perform the action
