Guests are encouraged to wear festive attire or calavera face paint, with face painting available on-site. SUGAR SKULL DECORATING
Participants will learn how to create beautiful handmade sugar skulls just in time for Día de los Muertos. Due to drying time, the sugar skulls will be pre-made, but participants will be taught how to work with them during the class. A variety of royal icing and fondant colors will be provided for decorating the skulls. Magda will offer tips and tricks for the decoration process.

This vibrant celebration embraces death as a part of the cycle of life and memory, and this year's exhibition is dedicated to Lucy Orta and Eddie Canales. The exhibition runs from October 7, 2024, to November 4, 2024, with gallery hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (closed Sunday).

CREATING A GARDEN ALTAR/OFRENDA FOR OUR ANCESTORS FOR DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS
In this emotional healing workshop, participants will learn how to build a garden altar guided by the spirit of ancestors, bringing to life traditions through the story of Legend of Xochitl y La Flor De Cempasuchil (Marigold—the Nahuatl flower of Día de Muertos). The workshop will conclude with a healing ceremony in which participants will offer gifts to their ancestors and elemental guides.
