RTVB 2388: INTERNSHIP COURSE
Looking or thinking about an internship for fall semester? There are many opportunities out there right now!
How the Internship Course Works
Student are required to reach out and secure internships on their own. RTF has a page for local resources students can use to find opportunities. A representative from the sponsoring company serves as the student’s immediate supervisor in the work setting.
If this is a new internship or sponsoring company/studio, the opportunity must also be approved in advance by the RTVB 2388 internship instructor.
Once an internship has been confirmed, students are approved to register for the RTVB 2388 Course.
When the semester begins, students submit materials as described in the syllabus, to include a resume, journals, midterms and finals, and final printed out journal report.
While this class does not meet weekly, all interns are required to set up a meeting with their instructor by the end of the first week of the semester. This could be individually or in a small group with other students.
Students are expected to work 12-18 hours/week following the semester they intern.

Industry Resumes: After you've created the basic content of your resume if you haven't yet, find and use a resume template (such as through Adobe Express) to help develop a creative approach (keeping it to one page!), as is a regular practice for creative industries. Make sure your e-query is short, sweet, and proofed thoroughly.
Good luck!
