1. Read Blue Textbook pp. 384 - 391 and for each law add one new idea and one new diagram in the "Textbook" space.
Those of you at home, link below for PDF of the reading
Newton's Laws textbook.pdf
Set up page 18 like this:
2. Watch each video below and for each one respond to the prompts underneath the video. Write your ideas down in the "Video" section of p. 18. Reflect the Question in your answer.
Newton's First Law
SKIP TO 1:25 to start the video!
1. Use the video to write a new definition of Inertia.
2. Draw one diagram from the video that demonstrates Newton's first Law
Newton's Second Law
1. How does this space experiment relate to our testing forces lab? What part of our notes does it support?
2. What part of Testing Forces Lab did he not investigate?
Newton's Third Law
1. Explain why the scientist did not accelerate as much as the ball?
Hint = Forces are equal but opposite, but think about Newton's second Law ( F = M x A ).
2. Draw a diagram of one of the scientists demonstrations showing the force pair (Action / Reaction)
3. If you are finished, watch more Newton's Laws videos below. You do not NEED to record any new ideas but feel free to add to your notes as you see fit.
