This will be my 17th year teaching, 16th year with Arcadia Unified and 15th year at Dana Middle School
I've been working in schools since high school. My mom taught for 30 years, so it's in my DNA!
I love teaching middle school! Seriously, it's the best age! My ultimate passion is to help all students find their voice, build their confidence and know that they are valued in our classrooms! I love seeing the growth that happens in each student as they build their character and find their unique identity!
I love my family and friends, drinking coffee, and being outdoors. I love reading, listening to music, sunsets and puzzles. I love watching baseball games and playing softball. Basically, I love finding joy in the people and places around me! I also play piano and am starting to enjoy gardening more after moving to a house with sprinklers! No more hand watering!! I also love our pets! We have two large dogs and one tiny kitty. They all live in peaceful harmony! (Side note: That's not my horse, I just enjoy riding when I can lol!)
