Overview Video of Saving a Course to Resources
The steps in this video are broken down below.
Step 1: Make sure to make a folder BEFORE saving courses/materials to resources.
This will help you stay organized and easily navigate to what you need when you need it.
1. Click on Resources
2. Click on "Add Resource"
3. Click "Add a Folder"
Note: Organize your resources so materials are easy to find in future years.
Step 2: Navigate to your course and save it to your resources folder that you just created
1. Click on Courses
2. Click on "Options"
3. Click "Save Course to Resources"
4. Select the folder you made in Resources
5. Click "Submit"
Step 3: Add material or assignments from Resources to a new course
There are 2 options for doing this:
1. Import directly from resources
2. Add materials from resources within a course
Option 1: Import Directly from Resources
Click Resources
Find the Material you want to add to the course
Click the gear icon to the right of the item
Click "Add to Course"
Option 2: Add materials from within a course
Navigate to Course
Click "Add Materials"
Click "Import from Resources"
💥IMPORTANT NOTES:
All Materials import into the course as published
If you use Google Drive Assignments, the document does not copy over. You will need to reattach it.
