Spaghetti Dinner

The Apache Marching Band officially ends their season in January with the annual Spaghetti Dinner, was held this year on Saturday, January 21, 2023. At this performance, the band plays their field show music, parade music, and more for family, friends, and alumni to celebrate another great season. This show also recognizes those who have contributed to the program whether it be volunteers, sponsors, or supporters. Drill downs are always an audience favorite. Show times are currently TBA, and guests are welcome to eat delicious spaghetti before or after watching the show! Dinner is available before the first performance and throughout the evening.

Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade

The Arcadia High School Marching Band and Colorguard was invited to march in the 2023 Thanksgiving Day Parade. Students spent their Thanksgiving break amongst their peers exploring scenic viewpoints and visiting well known attractions. Students were granted the opportunity to tour Northwestern as well as enjoy a performance of Fantasia by the Chicago Symphony.

The Arcadia High School Marching Band and Colorguard was invited to participate in the 2022 WBA Super Show in Sacramento. Students spent the weekend performing as well as making new memories. The band placed third overall in the competition.

2019

Competitions

The AHS Marching Band performed "Lily of the Valley" in 2019. With help from the instructors and a new unity between winds, percussion, and color guard, the band succeeded in performing shows that displayed their hard work throughout the year.   

Disneyland

In November of 2019, the Apache Marching Band had a chance to appear on the 1st Annual Disney Christmas Parade with the stars of "High School Musical: The Musical, The Series." The program aired on Christmas morning on ABC for millions to see. 

Florida Outback Bowl

In 2019, the Apache Marching Band participated in the Outback Bowl mass band performance. They also won the field competition, allowing them to perform their show during pre-game for the Outback Bowl. While at Florida, the students also had a chance to hangout at the Disney World Parks and Busch Gardens. 

Competitions

2018's "A Swan's Journey" was an unforgettable one. Students loved the beautiful ballad and graceful body throughout the show. Safe to say their hard work paid off, as they placed 2nd at championships.

BOA

Bands of America

In 2018, the AHS Marching Band went to their first BOA competition and took 2nd place! Besides competing, members had fun with each other during the 3 days in San Francisco. 

2017

Competitions

In 2017, the Apaches retired their old uniforms and performed "Resurgence," showcasing their new look. Although it was not a busy year, they had yet another strong season. 

2016

Rose Parade

In 2017, the Apache Marching Band made their 16th appearance in the Rose Parade. They also performed at Band Fest on a rainy New Year's Eve. 

2016's show was officially titled "A Rose by Any Other Name," but repeatedly announced as "Romeo and Juliet." A story of star-crossed lovers emerges through the music and body of the Apache Marching Band, stirring the emotions of all who watch. 

Disneyland

There's nothing quite like marching down Main Street. In addition to the 2017 Rose Parade, the Apache Marching Band also spent a day parading and playing at Disneyland that season.

Hawaii

Arcadia High School was represented by the Apache Marching Band at the Pearl Harbor Memorial Ceremony in Hawaii. 




2015

Competitions

The Apache Marching Band performed their show, "Crossing Lines," in 2015. They took the rose gold medal at championships that year (3rd place).

2014

Competitions 

In 2014, the Arcadia Apache Marching Band took first place at the SCSBOA Championships with their show "Follow the Leader." Although winning first place felt like a great accomplishment, many members were happier to have performed their best show as their last show.
