CONCERT ENSEMBLES: ABOUT US

Arcadia HS offers three levels of concert band (enrolled full-year, performing in the second semester) including:

• CONCERT BAND (9th grade ensemble) focusing on standard wind band literature and skill development, 

• SYMPHONIC BAND (open to all 10th, 11th, & 12th graders) focusing on more advanced wind band literature and skill development

• WIND ENSEMBLE (open to all 10th, 11th, & 12th grade students by audition only), performs more frequently on advanced and contemporary wind band literature.  

Each ensemble performs in local festivals and 2-3 school concerts in the second semester.  Local professional musicians assist these ensembles as section instrument coaches weekly.
