Health Education

A Resource for Teachers and Administrators working to meet the Personal Wellness education needs that contribute to shaping the  goals, skills and futures of the students in the Aurora Public School System (APS 2026: Faces of the Future). 

Health Education delivered in APS is built upon medically accurate, age appropriate, culturally sensitive and evidence based curriculum that is aligned to the Colorado Academic and National Health Education Standards. 

School Based Health Centers in Aurora Public Schools

Aurora Public Schools now has 4 School Based Health Centers to provide low to no cost medical care for students and their siblings. Medical, Dental and Behavioral Health Services are provided at all 4 clinics.  The clinics are staffed by staff from Aurora Mental Health, Children’s Dental and Every Child Pediatrics, formally named Rocky Mountain Youth Clinic.
