What concepts will your child explore in Third Grade?
Learners in third grade will represent and solve problems involving addition and subtraction, using flexible strategies with numbers through 1,000. They will understand place value by grouping numbers by thousands, hundreds, tens and ones, and use that understanding to add and subtract multi-digit numbers.
