The UCI Saturday Academy of Law (SAL) is designed to help 9th grade students develop
stronger critical reading, writing and speaking skills, while providing students with
the opportunity to learn about exciting careers in law! Throughout the program, students will:
1. Attend classes hosted by Undergraduate students at UCI as well as students at the UCI School of Law
2. Meet Judges, Attorneys and Law Enforcement Officials
3. Learn about their First Amendment rights as a student

Anaheim Fire and Rescue together with Learning for Life is offering young adults between the ages of 14 through 21 years of age the opportunity to become part of Anaheim Fire and Rescue’s Explorer Post. If you enjoy teamwork, learning new skills in a fun and exciting environment, and are interested in jump starting your career in the fire services, then we have an opportunity for you.

This one-to-one mentoring program focuses on building meaningful relationships between high school students and elementary school students.
As role models, high school students can find their own voices as community advocates and philanthropists. During once a week sessions, they guide elementary school students through facilitated activities that support academic achievement, interpersonal skills and self-awareness
