Hi Friends!
Do you have a basketball handy? Or any other type of bouncing ball? In this video you are going to be bouncing a ball to the rhythms that come up on the screen. If you don't have a bouncing ball you could do this by tossing a piece of crumpled paper in the air, making sure to hold the paper and time your tosses to match the rhythms shown. Watch the video from the very beginning to learn all of the rhythms. Make sure to hold your pall or piece of paper for all of the beats!

Hi Friends! Remember last week when we learned about Holi? Also known as the Festival of Colors and celebrated all across India! To continue celebrating and learning about Holi try this dance tutorial! When you're finished let me know how it went in the Google Form. Have fun!

Hi Friends!
This week we'll be learning about another famous dancer named Bill Robinson "Bo Jangles!" He was known for his incredible tap dancing and making people happy when he performed for them. Please watch the video of a story about him called "Rap-a-Tap-Tap- Here's Bo Jangles Think of That!" When you're finished find something in your house to play "Rap-A-Tap-Tap, Think of That" and listen to the story again. Play each time you hear "Rap-a-Tap-Tap, Think of That!" in the story. For example, I used two wooden spoons and drummed on my table. Make sure to check with a grown-up to be sure it's ok to use whatever you find. When you're finished, tell me what you used in the Google Form below! Have fun!

The Nutcracker is one of the most famous ballets. It was written by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and combines ballet and music to tell a beautiful story. One of the most famous dances of the ballet is the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. First, I'd like you to watch the video of the dance. After, I would like you to try the finger ballet!
