Hello, 5th grade friends! I'm so excited and happy that you have found your way here. This is where I will be posting your remote learning lessons and any information you will need throughout the year. Scroll down for the most recent lesson/ assignment/ video.

Week 1: September 8-11

Please watch the short video below.

Note* We will be starting our soccer unit soon so if you have a ball or have access to one that will be extremely beneficial. If not, I encourage you to try to get one as there will be skill work during lessons involving the ball.

Week 3: September 21-25 - Remote Learning Expectations

Please watch the following video about remote expectations this year.

Week 5: October 5-9: Accessing & Navigating Specials Site

Please watch the video/ tutorial on how to access and navigate the specials Google Site. When you have finished watching the video, please complete and submit the exit ticket.

Week 7: October 19-23: Soccer Speed and Agility Drills

Please watch the video below and complete the drills. If you do not have cones you can use anything (shirts, hats, paper plates, etc.) to mark off the areas. Do a total of four repetitions for each drill. Once you are done the video please complete the exit ticket. Remember to try your best!

Week 9: November 2-6: Soccer - Explosive Speed Exercises

Please watch the video below. Work at your own pace but to try to do the full workout of 10 exercises, doing 10 repetitions for each exercise before moving on to the next one. When you complete all 10 exercises that is considered one set. Try to complete a total of three sets making sure to rest 2-3 minutes in between each set. Once you are finished, please remember to fill out and submit the exit ticket to me.

Week 11: November 16-20: Basketball Workout

Please watch the following video below. If you don't have a basketball that is okay, you can use a different type of ball or rolled up shirt and follow along the best you can. When he refers to "HIIT" that simply stands for High Intensity Interval Training. Make sure to fill out and submit the exit ticket once you are done. Good luck and have fun!
