Making photographs of the natural world is a form of inspiration and discovery for me. I conduct two forms of nature photography studies, repeat and nature photography.

Repeat photography seeks to identify change through time of subject matter through photographs taken repeatedly at standardized photo points. Before and after photographs may also be used to quantify change by counting the number of shrubs of a species in each photograph.

Nature photography provides visual evidence of features of the natural world, and is simply completed opportunistically while out in the field for any reason. Such features could include photographs of landscapes, wildlife, naturescapes, and nightscapes.
