Advanced Placement (AP)

Advanced Placement (AP) refers to high school coursework allowing students to earn both a high school and college credit through the College Board. Students receive instruction at the high school from a high school teacher. Students take the AP test in the spring which determines if the student earns college credit or not.

Advanced placement is available to rising juniors and rising seniors. In certain circumstances, rising sophomores may be given permission to take these classes.
