In this module you will introduce yourself using a video recording tool.
Video is quite widely used in classrooms.
The tool we are using is called Padlet. A Padlet is a visual board for collecting, organizing, and presenting content.
You have a maximum of 2 minutes recording time to introduce yourself to the group
In your recording tell us
your name and where you are from. You might explain the connection you have to that place
What type of teacher are you? - based on your current teaching or when you were last in the classroom.
What type of teacher do you aspire to be? - think about your new learning and aligning with the NZC
Our Padlet is set to private and will be shared within our Google Classroom only.
How do I create my video introduction?
Either
Watch the clip [note Playback and save .. is now NEXT]
or
Click the + in the bottom Right of the Padlet
Write your name in the subject line
Click more (+13) and choose Video recorder
Give Padlet access to your camera & microphone
Click the recorder button ( you have a maximum of 2 minutes)
Click Pause then NEXT ( From here you can play to review)
Click Publish - :-) you are done

In this task you will post an introductory video onto our class Padlet.
Follow the instructions above to record your video and post to our Padlet (The link is in classroom). You have a maximum of 2 minutes.
Once your video is posted to our Padlet mark as done in Google Classroom
This Padlet is set to be private to our class only and the link cannot be shared
