Home Connections

Take-Home Folders:

Your child will bring home their Take-Home Folder each day.  One side has papers that need to stay in their folder, and one side will consist of graded work, notes, and all other important notices that need to stay at home.  Please look through their folder, then send it back to school each day. 

Weekly Calendar:

On Mondays, students will receive a yellow Weekly Calendar that will stay in their Take-Home folder all week.  Each day, students will write down reminders and notes for the week on their calendar.  There is also a space for the title of the book they read that night.  (This helps them remember the book for AR testing.)  Please check your child’s calendar each day.  

Classroom News:

Each Monday we will email our class newsletter.  Thank you for taking a few minutes to read it! 

Remind:

To promote communication and engagement between teachers and families, we will be using Remind this school year.  Remind is a free, safe messaging app that keeps families up to date with what’s happening in the classroom.  Parents and guardians may choose their preferred messaging tool - email, app, or text.  Please look for a notification to families.
