Coco Movie Night!
Date: Friday October 6th
Time: 6pm – 8pm
Where: Bowman Creek in the Gym
Wear your pajamas, bring blankets & pillows to sit on!

Carved Pumpkin Contest
Students may bring their ALREADY CARVED PUMPKIN to school the week of October 23-27. Please make sure their name, and grade are written on the bottom of their pumpkin.
Pumpkins will be displayed all week, for all to see!
There will be 4 categories:
Scariest pumpkin
Cutest pumpkin
Silliest pumpkin
Best Seahawk pumpkin
Bowman Creek staff will vote, and winners will be announced Friday!
*Pumpkins must already be carved.
2nd Annual: Trunk or Treat!
Date: Friday October 27th
Time: 6pm – 7:30pm (setup begins at 5pm)
Where: Bowman Creek playground

Family Picnic
Second Grade families joined their students for a family picnic in the courtyard on Friday September 29. Students and families enjoyed ice cream bars and beautiful fall weather.
Mary Olson Farm
First Grade classes visited Mary Olson Farm and learned about farm chores and food production. Students pitched straw in the barn, dug potatoes in the garden, fed chickens, used an apple cider press and learned how to milk a cow!
Nature Vision
Nature Vision visited first grade classrooms and taught a lesson about Healthy Soil. Students learned about living and non-living things that are found in healthy soil. They were able to explore composted soil and discover worms, seed parts, roots and soil!
