Bowman Creek's Giving Tree

We believe everyone should experience the joy of the holidays by receiving a gift they have wished for. To fulfill a child's wish in need may not seem much, but it is everything for someone who may not otherwise receive a gift. That single, specially chosen gift lets them know that someone in the community cares. Through our Virtual Giving Tree, you can grant a wish and help spread comfort and joy to our families. Please see the link below. Click on the present, and it will take you directly to the family's Amazon list. Gifts will ship directly to their house.

Please keep in mind that some families will have more kids than others. Our goal is that each child in their household receive a gift.

Our deadline will be December 13th.

Thank you.

Auburn School District Replacement Levy on February 13 Ballot

The Auburn School District Board of Directors unanimously approved placing a four-year Educational Programs and Operations (EP&O) Replacement Levy on the February 13 ballot.

The EP&O levy replaces the 2020 levy that expires in 2024 and provides 14% of the ASD budget. Funds from the levy are used for: all athletics and activities; family engagement staff and activities; special education programs and transportation; staffing underfunded by the state including nurses, security officers, school resource officers, psychologists and library staff; maintenance, transportation and extended learning opportunities.

The district will collect no more than $2.50 per $1,000 of assessed valuation in each of the levy years. The levy will collect $51.8 million in 2025; $54.4 million in 2026; $57.1 million in 2027 and $60 million in 2028. The total tax rate will not increase.

Detailed information about the replacement levy is available on the ASD website at www.auburn.wednet.edu/2024levy.

PTA: D🍩nuts with Gr🍩wnups

Thank  you to all who came to school for our first annual Donuts with Grownups event!

The PTA did a wonderful job  decorating and serving over 400 donuts, coffee and juice. We had a lot more family members show up than imagined!

It was wonderful to see such a huge turnout.  We hope you all had fun.  Thank you PTA for putting together such a wonderful event.

Turkey Trot Winner!

Bowman Creek placed 3rd with 17 staff and family participants. Our school will be awarded a $250 grant from the APSF.   We appreciate everyone who was able to join the Bowman Creek Team.  We had a lot of fun and enjoyed walking to Haggen afterwards for  donuts and coffee.
