Discovering the beauty of Mathematics with others
The Math Leaders Program (MLP) is a 10-week online program by PaperLand and ATWIN Education. Students explore mathematics through coding, visual thinking, and creative projects, while developing confidence, communication, and leadership skills through teaching and sharing their ideas with others.
The Math Leaders Program is built on a simple idea: students learn mathematics most deeply when they can explore it, create with it, and teach it to others.
More than a mathematics or coding program, MLP helps students become creators, communicators, and leaders. It transforms mathematics from something students study into something they can use to inspire others.
Students use code to make mathematical ideas visible.
Instead of only solving problems on paper, they explore patterns, geometry, symmetry, motion, structure, and logic through visual and interactive projects. This helps students experience mathematics as a tool for creating, experimenting, and expressing ideas.
Students do not learn mathematics only for themselves.
By sharing their knowledge with others, they develop confidence, communication skills, and leadership. By the end of the program, they are not just stronger learners, but young math leaders who can inspire and support their communities.
At the heart of the program are the students.

~ From Learning to Leading
The Math Leaders Program was designed as a journey.
Students begin by building their own mathematical and technical skills, then gradually grow into the role of teaching and leading others.
1. Learn
Students explore mathematical ideas through coding, design, and visual projects. Along the way, they develop technical skills while investigating concepts such as patterns, geometry, symmetry, motion, and structure.
2. Create
Students apply their learning by designing their own mathematical projects. Through creation, abstract concepts become visible, personal, and meaningful.
3. Teach
At ATWIN, we believe one of the best ways to learn is to teach. Students share their knowledge with peers, friends, and family members, deepening their understanding while developing communication skills and confidence.
4. Lead
The journey culminates in a community mathematics class, where students step into leadership roles and share their learning with others. They learn not only to solve problems, but also to guide, explain, and inspire.
5. Reflect
Students conclude the program by reflecting on their growth as mathematical thinkers, creators, teachers, and leaders. They consider what they learned, what they taught, and how their relationship with mathematics has evolved.
