Welcome to the Morningside GATE program! I am excited to kick off the year with the great units of study I have planned for my second through fifth graders. Brief descriptions of the units can be found on the individual pages for each grade level. In addition to our unit, students will also spend time doing weekly “brain booster” activities, working with technology, and discussing current events. Through the unit study and brain boosters, students will address the Georgia Standards of Excellence in Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, as well as the eight Gifted and Talented Program Standards:
