BENEFITS AND SERVICES FOR ACCREDITED ORGANIZATIONS

SAF BUDGET ALLOCATION

Each accredited student organizations receives an outright Php 15,000.00 budget allocation from the Student Activities Fee (SAF) per semester.

  • These fully cover the cost of a particular expense regarding activities that OSA wants to encourage for the bettering of the student and community.
  • This is automatically transferred from collected SAF to the student orgs' DCB account.
  • Update for first semester of SY 2020-2021: Amount and availability will depend on SAF collections duringt the first semester. This does not affect, however, the money of the student organization has in their DCB account.

REVOLVING FUND

Initial cash on hand amounting to Php 10,000.00 provided to accredited student organizations for small expenses.

    • Given at the start of the school year
    • Use it for purchasing supplies, transportation expenses, small food expenses and the like
    • It is continually replenished as payments are made for expenses
    • Replenish using reimbursement form. Here's how.
    • Update for first semester 2020-2021: Instead of having it replenished by encashing a check from the Central Accounting Office, get the revolving fund replenished deposited directly to the bank account of your Finance Officer via bank transfer. Here's how.

SUBSIDIES

Partially cover the cost of particular expenses for Formation and Leadership program in order to help orgs perform more enriching activities!

OSA currently only offers one type of subsidy in order to encourage orgs to help sustain their strengths in leadership!

Organization Formation Activities Subsidy

This subsidy encourages student orgs to undertake more formative programs, particular in leadership development!

    • For Intersession 2020-2021: Suspended due to non-collection of SAF.
    • For First semester 2020-2021: Availibility will depend on SAF collection for the first semester.

GRANTS

OSA currently offers two grants in order to help encourage students to engage in activities that will help build their character and leadership abilities!

      1. Travel Assistance for Student Rep Grant
        • This grant is given to help support students who will be representing Ateneo through their orgs in activities abroad!
      2. Adult Supervisor Grant for Student Activities
        • This grant is given to help encourage student advisers to volunteer as adult supervisor in org events!
    • For Intersession 2020-2021: Suspended due to non-collection of SAF.
    • For First semester 2020-2021: Suspended since there will be no off campus activities.

LOANS

In times that a student org is in dire need of financial assistance, OSA is here to help!

Student Activities Emergency Loaning System

Loans are granted to orgs as per request and arrangement! Do take not of the following features of an OSA loan!

    • Loans can be paid back up to four (4) years from the date they are granted!
    • OSA loans are provided at no interest at all! Or low interest in special cases.
    • Orgs can apply for loans from P50,000 to P300,000, depending on availability of funds.
    • For Intersession 2020-2021: Suspended due to non-collection of SAF.
    • For First semester 2020-2021: Suspended since most if not all activities and events will be online.
