The Grade 7 Physical Education Program aims to develop and enhance fundamental motor skills that are essential for students to enable them to perform various physical activities. The subject area also aims to impart lifelong values through participation in various Physical fitness activities and routines that will allow them to cope with the daily demands of everyday life and enable them to become men for others and contribute to nation building.
The program, inspired by skill-level specific physical exercises and activities, also aims to address the different psychomotor developmental needs of every student by tailoring activities to the students’ skill level and allowing students to discover activities that suit their needs.
The program focuses on developing motor skills that require powerful and fast movement such as jumping, skipping and dynamic balance to prepare students for various sports activities. Basic Strength and Conditioning programs, application of different modes of training and its incorporation with life skills will also be emphasized.
