Missed out on our live #MMK earlier?
Or you just want to relive it?
We've got you! 🙂
The CSIP team would again like to thank our speakers who made the videos and this live stream possible:
Mrs. Leah Lagmay (Executive Director, Meritxell Children's World Foundation)
Mr. Rodne Galicha (Executive Director, Living Laudato Si' Philippines)
Ms. Sabrina Ongkiko (Teacher, Culiat Elementary School)
Mr. Gabriel Moshe Lacson (President, Sangguniang Kabataan of Pampanga)
'Pay It Forward'
A video dedicated and made for the Grade 7 students of the AJHS.
#MMK (Maganda't Makabuluhang Kwentuhan) with Ms. Leah Lagmay for Grade 7 students.
Ms. Leah Lagmay is the Executive Director and a Board Member of Merixtell Children's World Foundation, an NGO dedicated to providing a loving and caring environment for the abandoned, neglected, orphaned, and abused children. She previously worked in the UK before coming back to the Philippines with her family, and has since dedicated much of her time to ensuring that she get to be able to bring hope to others - specifically these children who may be so lost with life.
'Living Laudato Si' Philippines'
A video dedicated and made for the Grade 8 students of the AJHS.
#MMK (Maganda't Makabuluhang Kwentuhan) with Mr. Rodne Galicha for Grade 8 students.
Mr. Rodne Galicha is the Executive Director for Living Laudato Si' Philippines. Living Laudato Si’ Philippines (LLS) is an interfaith movement initiated by Catholic laypeople calling on Philippine financial institutions to divest from coal- related operations and other environmentally harmful activities.
'Pwede ka ba Maabala?'
A video dedicated and made for the Grade 9 students of the AJHS.
#MMK (Maganda't Makabuluhang Kwentuhan) with Ms. Sabrina Ongkiko for Grade 9 students.
Ms. Sabrina Ongkiko is a public school teacher at Culiat Elementary School. She finished her undergraduate studies at the Ateneo with a degree of Bachelor of Science major in Biology. Despite her desire to be a doctor ever since she was a child, she pursued the path of (public) education that started from entering the Jesuit Volunteer for the Philippines (JVP) after graduating.
'We See from Where We Stand'
A video dedicated and made for the Grade 10 students of the AJHS.
#MMK (Maganda't Makabuluhang Kwentuhan) with Mr. Gabriel Moshe Lacson for Grade 10 students.
Mr. Gabriel Moshe Lacons is the President for the Sangguniang Kabataan for Pampanga. He is also presently studying the Ateneo School for Medicine and Public Health. He has always dreamt of being a doctor as to help others out, but he later on found that the paths we take in life aren't exactly as we planned them ever since we were kids.
In a normal set-up, we'd be talking to our partners from the institutions in communities in person. Unfortunately now, we've been restricted to a simple of exchange of letters - or maybe not?
How about if you were given a chance to actually speak with partners* from our CSIP institutions/communities?
How about if you were also given an opportunity to share your insights and learning about your short (but sweet!) talk with these individuals to the Ateneo community?
Check out the linked Google Doc for more details to you as an interested participant!
