The Spring 2026 CPT application will be available Nov 3rd.
At the conclusion of your internship, you are required to submit a 5-page report. The 5-page minimum does not include the required cover sheet. This report must be signed by your industry mentor and your faculty mentor/advisor (Thesis, Ph.D., and all IE students). Make sure you make arrangements with your industry mentor to review and sign your report prior to the end of your internship. Your mentor can approve your CPT report with a signature or with an email confirming they have read and approved the report.
Before uploading the document to Dropbox, you must save the documents with your name, ID number, name, program, Thesis/Non-Thesis.
For example: "Kbob Petunia_1234567890_RAS_Thesis"

Submit to the CPT Report Submission Dropbox by the semester deadline. If it is your graduating semester, reports are due ONE WEEK PRIOR to your CPT end date.
Fall - Jan 31 (reviewed in February)
Spring - May 31 (reviewed in June)
Summer - Aug 31 (reviewed in September)
If submitted after the deadline, your report may not be reviewed until the review period in the following semester.
Once reviewed and approved by the program chair, the ‘Z’ grade will be changed to a ‘Y'.
Please do not submit duplicate copies.
You will be contacted if your report is not approved for any reason.
