Learning Goal: At the end of Module 2, you will independently produce and embed a 3-5 minute course introductory “talking head” video into Canvas using DaVinci Resolve. 

Welcome to Module 2 of our “talking head” video production eLearning course! In this module, we’ll introduce you to the basics of DaVinci Resolve, a powerful video editing and color grading software that you’ll be using to create an engaging 3-5 minute “talking head” video to embed in your Canvas courses. This module will be broken into three lessons. 

• Lesson One: The Basics.  Learn how to import videos and identify parts of the DaVinci Resolve Interface.

• Lesson Two: Editing Videos In DaVinci Resolve.  Learn how to add a video bumper, title screen, fades, and additional audio to your video.

• Lesson Three: Export and Upload Course Intro Video.  Learn how to use built-in tools to export your finished video to YouTube and then embed the video into Canvas.
