Objective 1: The student will be able to produce edited talking head videos, including an introductory bumper, a page displaying the course prefix and short description of the class, video clips of you or other faculty member contributions.
You will create a three-to-five-minute video which shows an introductory bumper, a short slide displaying the course prefix and short description of the class, faculty talking head clips, and video fades/crossfades in the timeline view of DaVinci Resolve.
A fade occurs between the title text box and the beginning of the first faculty member’s video. If there are more than one faculty member videos, fades will start and end with fades between each faculty member’s clips. At the conclusion of the last faculty member’s video clip, the video will fade to black ending the video. If there is only one faculty member’s talking head video, it will fade to black to conclude the video.
