Embedded Files
Objective: The student will import at least two pieces of media to the media pool in DaVinci Resolve software.
In your first lesson, you will learn about some basic features of the DaVinci Resolve interface. You will also learn how to import your own "talking head" video that you have already created as a raw file to be used in the editing process.

Importing Your Media:
Please follow the written directions to insert media files into the video timeline or watch the detailed video recording below.
Use your cursor to click on the "File" dropdown menu at the top of the screen
Select “import “
Navigate to your media files
Select all media files you want to import (these can be video, audio, or any additional assets). Use the control key to select multiple items.
Click “open” in the bottom right corner to start the upload process
***Please note you can alternatively drag and drop into the media pool from your file library.
