The Enrollment Center and its coaches support learners as they begin their ASUO journey by guiding students through the application and enrollment processes. Enrollment coaches are interactive, friendly, and provide a positive first impression of ASU and our online programs. They can help students narrow down which programs they may be interested in, learn more about ASU Online overall, and answer outstanding questions.
When a student submits a Request for Information (RFI), they are connected with an enrollment coach. Our enrollment coaches leverage our ASUO knowledge base to provide more detailed information about programs to prospective students. Additionally, they guide and follow up with prospective students during the different steps of the application process.
The Student Services team provides direct and indirect student support on behalf of the academic units and EdPlus. They act as problem solvers by resolving issues during the student application process, assisting with questions or issues for continuing students and providing feedback to units and program managers to improve experiences for current and future students.
Our Student Success Center provides various services to help serve the unique needs of online students. Here are the three types of roles in this department that serve our students:
Success Coaches: Our success coaches are an integral part of the online student experience. They provide one-on-one coaching via virtual meetings, calls, or texts to motivate students to work toward their goals, overcome challenges, and develop positive academic habits.
Re-entry Team: This team specializes in supporting students who have previously left ASUO and returned to finish their degrees. All re-entry specialists have previously worked as success coaches and are skilled at empowering students to overcome obstacles. They help students work through financial aid issues, change majors, register for classes, and set up a realistic plan for success when re-enrolling.
Financial Intake Services: Financial Intake Specialists (FIS) support corporate partner learners with the completion of necessary financial aid paperwork to obtain their tuition benefits. Our specialists aim to provide an exceptional student experience centered around overcoming financial obstacles and are dedicated to their students’ success.
