Raffle Prizes

The Cherry Springs Star Party Raffle is held on Saturday afternoon of the party in the Picnic Pavilion

Each person checking into the party receives one free raffle ticket per registration when you check into the party. You may purchase additional raffle tickets either at the check in tent or on Saturday afternoon at the site of the raffle. Tickets are $1 each or 12 tickets for $10. The many raffle prizes are displayed on Saturday beginning at noon with each having a tub in front of the prize, you may deposit as many tickets as you wish for the prizes you are interested in into the tub located in front each prize. Tickets may be deposited between Noon and 4:30pm on Saturday, after 4:30pm no more tickets will be accepted.

Terms and Conditions for the Raffle Drawing

By purchasing raffle tickets you agree to the following:

1. No refunds will be given. All sales are final.
2. Tickets will only be sold at locations stipulated by the Astronomical Society of Harrisburg, Pa (referred herein as ASH) to those who have registered for the party.
3. To win a prize for the raffle, you or someone you ask to be at the raffle must be present at the drawing.
4. No one under 18 years old may purchase tickets nor have tickets purchased on their behalf. There may be a separate Children's Drawing for a door prize. One ticket for this is given to each registrant under the age of 18. No extra tickets for this drawing may be purchased.
5. Tickets may only be deposited into bins designated by ASH.
6. Tickets can only be deposited beginning Saturday at noon and ending at 430pm.
7. Once deposited, tickets may not be removed from bins.
8. Those who attempt to deposit raffle tickets into bins for the raffle after the allocated time for this activity will not be allowed to attend the raffle and may be asked to leave the Star Party.
