The Cherry Springs Star Party has been held since 2005 at the Cherry Springs State Park and is run by the Astronomical Society of Harrisburg, PA Inc. It is a gathering of amatuer astronomers and night sky lovers from across the United States and Canada to enjoy the very dark skies of Cherry Springs.
