Image Harvestは、現在表示しているWebページから画像候補を取得・一覧表示し、利用者が選択した画像を画像ファイルまたはPDFとしてローカル端末へ保存するためのChrome拡張機能です。
本プライバシーポリシーでは、Image Harvestがどのような情報を処理し、どのように保存・利用するかについて説明します。
Image Harvestは、画像URL、画像データ、生成したPDFその他の利用者データを、開発者が運営するサーバーへ送信しません。
Image Harvestの単一用途は、現在表示しているWebページから画像候補を検出し、利用者が必要な画像を選択して、画像ファイルまたはPDFとしてローカル端末へ保存できるようにすることです。
画像候補の検出、絞り込み、選択、形式変換、PDF生成、分割PDF処理、ダウンロードは、すべてこの単一用途を実現するために提供されています。
Image Harvestは、その機能を提供するために、以下の情報を端末内で処理する場合があります。
利用者がImage Harvestを明示的に実行した現在のWebページについて、以下のような情報を処理します。
ページ内の画像候補
画像URL
画像の取得元
画像形式
画像サイズや寸法
画像表示に必要な情報
画像候補を識別するために必要な情報
これらは、画像候補の一覧表示、絞り込み、サムネイル表示、保存、形式変換、PDF作成などに使用されます。
Image Harvestは、利用者が明示的に操作していないWebページを常時監視する目的では使用しません。
Image Harvestは、機能の実行に必要な範囲で、現在表示しているページのURL、origin、および画像候補のURLやoriginを処理する場合があります。
これらは、現在のWebページから画像候補を取得したり、画像取得に必要な権限を判断したりするために使用されます。
Image Harvestは、Chromeの閲覧履歴一覧を取得するためのhistory権限を使用せず、過去に閲覧したWebサイトの履歴をデータベースとして収集・保存・分析しません。
Image Harvestは、Side Panelの状態を維持し、PDF分割処理などを正しく継続するため、以下のような機能上の状態を端末内で一時的に保持する場合があります。

これらは、Image Harvestの機能状態を復元・維持するための情報です。
クリック履歴、マウス操作履歴、キーストローク履歴、利用時間、機能利用回数などをユーザー行動分析目的で記録するものではありません。
Image Harvestは、広告、分析、行動追跡、テレメトリのためにユーザーアクティビティを収集しません。
Image Harvestは、その機能として以下の情報を収集するよう設計されていません。
氏名
住所
電話番号
メールアドレス
アカウントID
パスワード
認証情報
クレジットカード情報
銀行口座情報
財務情報
健康情報
医療情報
個人的なメッセージやメール
GPS等による正確な位置情報
Webページにこれらの情報が偶然含まれている場合でも、Image Harvestはそれらを識別、分類、プロフィール作成、広告配信等の目的で使用しません。
Image Harvestでは、機能によって必要な情報をChromeの拡張機能用ストレージへ保存する場合があります。
画像の選択状態、PDF分割処理の状態、現在の画像候補に関連する必要な情報などは、原則として現在のブラウザーセッションに限定した状態として扱います。
Image Harvestはchrome.storage.sessionを使用して、選択状態やPDF分割状態などを一時的に保持する場合があります。
chrome.storage.sessionのデータはメモリ上で保持され、Chromeの仕様上、ブラウザの再起動や拡張機能の無効化、再読み込み、更新などによって消去されます。(Chrome for Developers)
Image Harvestの利用設定など、セッションをまたいで保持する必要がある設定については、Chromeの拡張機能用ストレージへローカル保存する場合があります。
現在収集している画像候補の完全なURL一覧や画像データそのものを、長期的な利用履歴としてstorage.localへ永続保存する目的では使用しません。
画像候補の完全なURLは、以下の機能に必要な場合に端末内で処理されます。

完全な画像URLは、これらの機能に必要な現在のブラウザーセッション中の処理に限定して使用されます。
画像URLを開発者が運営するサーバーへ送信することはありません。
画像の保存、JPEG・PNGへの対応変換、およびPDF生成は、利用者の端末内で処理されます。
以下のデータを開発者が運営するサーバーへアップロードしません。

生成したファイルはChromeのダウンロード機能を通じて利用者の端末へ保存されます。
GIF画像は元のGIF形式のまま保存できます。
安全性上の処理方針により、GIF画像については以下の処理には対応していません。

GIFをこれらの形式へ変換する際に、Image HarvestがGIFを外部サービスへ送信して変換することもありません。
Image Harvestは、インストール時にWebサイト全体を対象とする必須host permissionを要求しません。
現在のページとは異なるHTTPS originから画像を取得する必要がある場合、Image Harvestは必要な具体的なHTTPS originへの任意アクセスを利用者へ確認する場合があります。
Chromeの権限管理の仕様により、利用者が一度許可したoriginへのアクセス権限をChromeが保持し、その後再利用できる場合があります。
この権限は画像取得などImage Harvestの単一用途に必要な処理に使用されます。
画像を取得する場合、通信は画像を提供している元のWebサーバーとの間で行われることがあります。これは画像を取得するための通常のネットワーク通信であり、Image Harvest開発者のサーバーへ画像を転送するものではありません。
Image Harvestの開発者は、Image Harvestが機能上処理する利用者データを第三者へ販売しません。
また、以下の目的で利用者データを第三者へ提供または転送しません。

Image Harvestは外部の画像変換サービス、外部翻訳サービス、広告ネットワーク、アクセス解析サービスを使用しません。

画像の選択状態などを保持することは、利用者の操作履歴を分析するためのtrackingではなく、Image Harvest自身の機能状態を維持するための処理です。
Image Harvestでは以下のChrome権限を使用します。
利用者がImage Harvestを明示的に操作した際に、現在表示しているタブから画像候補を検出するために使用します。
常時すべてのWebサイトを監視する目的では使用しません。
利用者がImage Harvestを実行した現在のWebページで画像候補を検出するためのスクリプトを実行するために使用します。
利用者が選択した画像、変換したJPEG・PNG画像、および生成したPDFをChromeのダウンロード機能を通じてローカル端末へ保存するために使用します。
利用者の設定、画像選択状態、PDF分割処理状態など、Image Harvestの機能を提供・復元するために必要な状態を保持するために使用します。
ユーザーの行動履歴を分析・追跡する目的では使用しません。
画像候補、サムネイル、フィルター、選択状態、画像保存設定、PDF設定など、Image Harvestの主要なユーザーインターフェースをChromeのSide Panelへ表示するために使用します。
Chrome Web Storeのプライバシー申告上、Image Harvestはその機能上、現在のWebページや画像URLなどのWebリソース情報、およびWebサイトのコンテンツを処理します。
ただし、過去の閲覧履歴を収集してプロフィールを作成したり、ユーザーの操作履歴をAnalyticsやTracking目的で収集したりするものではありません。
特に、画像選択やPDF分割状態として一時保持される情報は、Image Harvestの現在の機能状態を維持するためにのみ使用されます。
Image Harvestは、利用者データを可能な限りローカル端末内で処理し、機能に必要のない外部送信を行わない設計としています。
一方で、インターネット通信やソフトウェアには一般に一定のリスクが存在するため、絶対的な安全性を保証するものではありません。
利用者は、Image Harvestを使用するかどうか、どの画像を選択するか、どの画像を保存するかを自ら選択できます。
任意のHTTPS originアクセス権限が必要になった場合も、Chromeの権限確認を通じて利用者が許可するかどうかを選択できます。
利用者はChromeの拡張機能設定からImage Harvestを無効化または削除できます。
Image Harvestは、利用者が保存または使用する権利を持つ画像を扱うことを目的としています。
利用者は、画像の著作権、利用規約その他の権利を確認し、適用される法律およびWebサイトの利用条件に従ってImage Harvestを使用する責任があります。
Image Harvestの機能、データ処理方法、Chrome Web Storeの要件などに変更があった場合、本プライバシーポリシーを更新することがあります。
重要な変更がある場合は、本ページの最終更新日を更新します。

Image Harvest is a Chrome extension that allows users to detect and view image candidates from the webpage they are currently viewing, select images, and save them locally as image files or as a PDF.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Image Harvest processes, how that information is used, and how it may be stored.
Image Harvest does not send image URLs, image data, generated PDFs, or other user data to servers operated by the developer.
The single purpose of Image Harvest is to help users detect image candidates from the currently displayed webpage, select the images they need, and save them locally as image files or as a PDF.
Image detection, filtering, selection, image conversion, PDF generation, split-PDF processing, and downloading are all provided solely to support this purpose.
Image Harvest may process certain information locally on the user's device when necessary to provide its functionality.
When the user explicitly activates Image Harvest on the current webpage, the extension may process information such as image candidates contained in the page, image URLs, image sources, image formats, image dimensions and sizes, information necessary to display images, and information necessary to identify image candidates.
This information is used to display and filter image candidates, generate thumbnails, save images, perform supported image conversions, and create PDFs.
Image Harvest is not designed to continuously monitor webpages that the user has not explicitly chosen to process with the extension.
Image Harvest may process the URL and origin of the current webpage, as well as URLs and origins associated with image candidates, when necessary to provide its functionality.
This information is used to retrieve image candidates from the current webpage and to determine whether additional permission is required to access an image source.
Image Harvest does not use Chrome's history permission to retrieve a database of the user's browsing history, and it does not collect, store, or analyze a historical list of websites visited by the user.
To maintain the Side Panel state and correctly continue operations such as split-PDF processing, Image Harvest may temporarily store functional state information such as selected image candidates, current selection state, the internal type or intent of a selection, split-PDF progress, the current PDF chunk, remaining candidates in a split workflow, manually excluded image candidates, and revision information associated with selection or PDF state.
This information is used only to maintain and restore the current functional state of Image Harvest.
Image Harvest does not record click history, mouse movement history, keystroke history, usage duration, feature usage frequency, or similar activity for behavioral analysis.
Image Harvest does not collect user activity for advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, or telemetry purposes.
Image Harvest is not designed to collect names, postal addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, account identifiers, passwords, authentication credentials, credit card information, bank account information, financial information, health or medical information, personal messages or emails, or precise location information such as GPS data.
If such information happens to appear within a webpage or an image being processed, Image Harvest does not identify, classify, profile, or use that information for advertising or similar purposes.
Image Harvest may use Chrome extension storage where necessary to provide and restore its functionality.
Image selection state, split-PDF processing state, and information associated with the current image candidate collection are generally treated as browser-session state.
Image Harvest may use chrome.storage.session to temporarily maintain information such as the current selection and split-PDF state.
Session storage is used so that Image Harvest can restore relevant functional state while the browser session is active. It is not used to create a long-term history of the user's browsing or image-selection activity.
User preferences that need to remain available across sessions may be stored locally using Chrome's extension storage mechanisms.
Image Harvest does not use persistent local storage to maintain the complete URLs of the current image candidate collection or the image data itself as a long-term usage history.
Full image candidate URLs may be processed locally when necessary for image candidate retrieval, thumbnail display, image saving, retry operations, PDF creation, split-PDF continuation, or restoration of Side Panel state.
Full image URLs are used only to the extent necessary to provide these functions during the relevant browser session.
Image URLs are not sent to servers operated by the developer.
Saving images, performing supported JPEG or PNG conversions, and generating PDFs are processed locally on the user's device.
Image Harvest does not upload original image data, retrieved image bytes, converted JPEG images, converted PNG images, generated PDFs, or lists of images used in PDFs to servers operated by the developer.
Generated files are saved to the user's device through Chrome's download functionality.
GIF images can be saved in their original GIF format.
For safety reasons, Image Harvest does not support converting GIF images to JPEG, converting GIF images to PNG, or using GIF images for PDF creation.
Image Harvest does not send GIF images to an external service for conversion.
Image Harvest does not request required host permissions covering websites at installation.
When an image must be retrieved from an HTTPS origin different from the current webpage, Image Harvest may ask the user to grant optional access to the specific validated HTTPS origin that is required.
Depending on Chrome's permission management behavior, Chrome may retain and reuse permission previously granted by the user for an origin.
Such permission is used only when necessary to provide Image Harvest's single-purpose image retrieval functionality.
When Image Harvest retrieves an image, normal network communication may occur directly with the server hosting that image. This does not mean that the image is transferred to a server operated by the Image Harvest developer.
The developer of Image Harvest does not sell user data processed by the extension.
User data is not transferred or provided to third parties for advertising, behavioral targeting, user profiling, data brokerage, creditworthiness assessment, lending decisions, or purposes unrelated to the single purpose of Image Harvest.
Image Harvest does not use external image conversion services, external translation services, advertising networks, or analytics services.
Image Harvest does not include advertising, analytics services such as Google Analytics, behavioral tracking, cross-site tracking, usage telemetry, user profiling, or advertising identifiers.
Maintaining image selection state or split-PDF state is necessary to preserve the current functional state of Image Harvest. It is not used to analyze or track user behavior.
Image Harvest uses the following Chrome permissions:
activeTab — Used when the user explicitly activates Image Harvest so that the extension can detect image candidates from the currently displayed tab. It is not used to continuously monitor all websites.
scripting — Used to run the image-detection logic on the current webpage after the user activates Image Harvest.
downloads — Used to save selected images, supported converted JPEG or PNG images, and generated PDFs to the user's local device through Chrome's download functionality.
storage — Used to maintain settings, image selection state, split-PDF processing state, and other state necessary to provide and restore Image Harvest functionality. It is not used to track or analyze the user's behavioral history.
sidePanel — Used to display the primary Image Harvest interface, including image candidates, thumbnails, filters, selection state, image-saving options, and PDF settings.
For Chrome Web Store privacy disclosure purposes, Image Harvest processes information related to the current webpage and web resources, including image URLs, as well as website content necessary to provide its functionality.
Image Harvest does not collect a historical browsing profile or use browsing information to create a user profile.
Image selection and split-PDF state that may be temporarily maintained are functional state required for the extension to operate. They are not collected as behavioral analytics or tracking data.
Image Harvest is designed to process user data locally on the user's device whenever practical and to avoid unnecessary external transmission.
However, as with internet communications and software generally, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Users choose whether to activate Image Harvest, which images to select, and which images to save.
When optional access to a specific HTTPS origin is required, the user can choose whether to grant that permission through Chrome's permission interface.
Users can also disable or uninstall Image Harvest through Chrome's extension settings.
Image Harvest is intended to be used with images that the user has the right to save or use.
Users are responsible for reviewing applicable copyright, licensing terms, website terms of service, and other legal requirements before saving or using images with Image Harvest.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if Image Harvest's functionality, data-processing practices, or applicable Chrome Web Store requirements change.
