Clip Captureの単一用途と関係のない目的でユーザーデータを使用することはありません。
Clip Captureによるメディアの検出、解析、結合、処理および保存は、Chrome内およびユーザーの端末上で行われます。
Clip Captureは、処理対象となるメディアデータを開発者が運営するサーバーへアップロードして処理する仕組みを使用しません。
ユーザーが保存した動画、音声その他のメディアファイルは、ユーザー自身の端末に保存されます。
保存済みファイルはClip Captureの一時データとは独立しており、ユーザー自身が削除するまで端末上に残る場合があります。
Clip Captureは完全なオフラインアプリケーションではありません。
ユーザーがメディアを検出または保存する場合、以下のデータを取得するため、元のWebサイト、CDNまたはその他のメディア配信元とのネットワーク通信が発生する場合があります。

ユーザー自身が端末へ保存したメディアファイルについては、ユーザー自身で削除する必要があります。

Clip Captureを実行するために必要なJavaScriptその他の実行コードは、Chrome拡張機能パッケージ内に含まれています。
Webサイトから取得するプレイリスト、動画、音声、メディアセグメント等はメディアデータとして処理され、拡張機能の実行コードとして使用されません。
Clip Captureは、DRMまたは暗号化されたメディア保護を回避する機能を提供しません。
暗号化またはDRM保護を示す情報が検出された場合、Clip Captureはそのコンテンツの保存処理を拒否します。

Clip Capture is a Chrome extension that detects savable media playing on web pages and allows users to save that media locally to their own devices through explicit user action.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Clip Capture handles, how that information is used and stored, external network communications, data sharing, data retention, security practices, and user choices.
Clip Capture's single purpose is to detect savable non-DRM media on web pages visited by the user and allow the user to save that media locally to their device through explicit user action.
To provide its functionality, Clip Capture may handle the following information locally on the user's device.
To detect media and associate detected media with the relevant web page, Clip Capture may temporarily handle:
The URL of the page being viewed
The page title
Information related to page navigation
URLs of detected media resources
This information is used to detect media, manage capture or recording sessions, and prevent media from different pages from being mixed into the same session.
This information is not used for advertising, behavioral profiling, marketing, or user tracking.
To detect savable media such as HLS, DASH, MP4, and WebM, Clip Capture examines information associated with network requests and responses generated by web pages.
Information that may be handled includes:
Request URLs
HTTP methods
Content-Type
Content-Length
Origin, where required for media retrieval
Referer
Range
Clip Capture does not use these permissions for the purpose of storing authentication information such as cookies, passwords, Authorization headers, or authentication tokens.
To process media selected by the user for saving, Clip Capture may handle website content such as:
HLS playlists
HLS media segments
DASH MPD manifests
fMP4 media
MP4
WebM
M4A
MP3
AAC
Video data
Audio data
MediaSource playback data when the user explicitly starts Capture mode
This data is used solely to detect, analyze, combine, process, and locally save supported media.
While a recording or Capture mode session is active, Clip Capture may temporarily store information required to manage the session safely, including:
Session IDs
Identifiers for the source tab and recorder tab
Capture mode status
Detected or permitted media URLs
Information related to temporary network rules
Random nonce values or similar information used to identify a session
This information is temporarily stored using Chrome's session storage.
Clip Capture may store local preferences using Chrome's local storage, including:
Light theme
Dark theme
Automatic theme and related display preferences
These settings are stored so that the user's display preferences can be preserved between uses.
Information handled by Clip Capture is used only for the following purposes:
Detecting savable media on web pages
Displaying format and related information about detected media
Retrieving media selected by the user
Processing supported HLS, DASH, fMP4, and other media locally
Operating Capture mode when explicitly initiated by the user
Preventing media from different pages or sessions from being mixed
Saving media to the user's device
Managing Clip Capture's display settings and session state
Clip Capture does not use user data for purposes unrelated to its single purpose.
Media detection, analysis, combining, processing, and saving performed by Clip Capture take place within Chrome and on the user's device.
Clip Capture does not use a developer-operated server to upload and remotely process the media being handled.
Video, audio, and other media files saved by the user are stored on the user's own device.
Saved files are separate from Clip Capture's temporary session data and may remain on the user's device until the user deletes them.
Clip Capture is not a completely offline application.
When the user detects or saves media, network communication may occur with the original website, content delivery network, or other original media source in order to retrieve resources such as:
Playlists
DASH manifests
Video
Audio
Media segments
Other media resources required for saving
These communications occur to retrieve the original media that the user is viewing or has chosen to save.
Clip Capture does not include functionality that sends browsing history, detected media URLs, video, audio, or media data captured through Capture mode to servers operated by the developer for analytics, advertising, tracking, or storage.
Clip Capture does not use external services for:
Advertising
Personalized advertising
Retargeted advertising
Analytics
Behavioral analysis
User profiling
Telemetry
User tracking
Clip Capture does not collect or transmit user data for these purposes.
Clip Capture does not sell user data.
Clip Capture does not transfer or disclose user data to third parties except where necessary to provide its single purpose, where required by applicable law, or where necessary for security purposes.
User data is not used or transferred for:
Advertising
Marketing
Sale to data brokers
Creditworthiness assessment
Lending decisions
Purposes unrelated to Clip Capture's single purpose
Clip Capture does not require users to provide the following information in order to use its normal functionality:
Name
Address
Email address
Telephone number
Personal identification numbers
Health information
Financial information
Credit card information
Passwords
Authentication information
GPS or similar location information
Clip Capture is also not designed to collect personal communications such as email messages or chat messages.
Session information required for recording or Capture mode is temporarily stored using Chrome's session storage.
This information is deleted when the relevant session ends, when associated tabs are closed where applicable, or when the configured expiration period is reached.
User preferences such as theme settings may remain in Chrome's local storage until the user changes the settings or uninstalls the extension.
Media files that the user saves to their own device are not automatically deleted by Clip Capture.
Because Clip Capture does not store users' browsing history or captured media on developer-operated servers, the developer does not maintain a user-specific server-side database containing such browsing history or recording data.
Temporary session information is removed when the applicable session ends, associated tabs are closed, or the applicable expiration period is reached.
Users can uninstall Clip Capture to remove extension settings stored locally by Chrome.
Media files that users have saved to their own devices must be deleted by the users themselves.
Clip Capture is designed to minimize the amount of user data it handles.
Its security-related design includes:
Processing media locally whenever possible
Limiting session information to temporary storage
Starting Capture mode only through explicit user action
Limiting Capture mode to the relevant tab and session
Using session-identifying information to prevent data from unrelated sessions from being mixed
Limiting retained network header information to what is necessary for media retrieval
Not using advertising, analytics, or tracking services
Not sending media data to developer-operated servers
Clip Capture does not use remote code as executable extension code.
JavaScript and other executable code required to operate Clip Capture are included within the Chrome extension package.
Playlists, video, audio, media segments, and other media resources retrieved from websites are treated as media data and are not used as executable extension code.
Clip Capture does not provide functionality to bypass DRM or encrypted media protection.
If information indicating encryption or DRM protection is detected, Clip Capture refuses to save that content.
Clip Capture is intended for locally saving content that the user has the right or permission to save.
Before saving or using content, users are responsible for ensuring that their use complies with applicable copyright laws, website terms of service, contractual obligations, and any other applicable rules.
Clip Capture is intended to handle user data in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements.
User data handled by Clip Capture is used only to provide Clip Capture's user-facing single purpose.
User data is not used for personalized advertising, retargeted advertising, creditworthiness assessment, lending decisions, or the sale of user data.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Clip Capture's functionality, Chrome specifications, Chrome Web Store policies, or applicable laws change.
If material changes are made, the Last Updated date shown on this page will be revised.
