Calendar Free Time は、Google Calendar の空き時間情報を利用して、ユーザーが指定した期間・時間帯における空き時間を計算し、選択した出力形式やタイムゾーンに応じて整理し、確認・コピーしやすいテキストとして表示する Chrome 拡張機能です。

本プライバシーポリシーでは、Calendar Free Time がアクセスまたは処理する情報、その利用目的、保存・共有の方法について説明します。

1. アクセスまたは処理する情報

Calendar Free Time は、機能を提供するために必要な範囲で、以下の情報を取り扱います。

• Google OAuth によって取得されるアクセストークン

• Google Calendar のメインカレンダーにおける予定が入っている時間帯の開始時刻と終了時刻

• ユーザーが指定した開始日と終了日

• ユーザーが指定した1日の開始時刻と終了時刻

• ユーザーが指定した最低空き時間

• ブラウザから取得される現在のタイムゾーン情報

• ユーザーが選択した出力タイムゾーン

• ユーザーが選択した出力形式

• ユーザーが選択したタイムゾーン表示設定

• 上記の情報から計算された空き時間

• ユーザーがコピー操作を行った際にクリップボードへ書き込まれる空き時間テキスト

Google Calendar の空き状況については、Google Calendar FreeBusy API を使用して取得します。

出力タイムゾーンには IANA タイムゾーンIDを使用し、空き時間を選択されたタイムゾーンへ変換するために利用します。

2. アクセスしない情報

Calendar Free Time は、Google Calendar の予定内容を取得することを目的としていません。

本拡張機能では、以下の情報を取得しません。

• 予定のタイトル

• 予定の説明

• 参加者情報

• 予定の場所

• Google Meet などの会議URL

• 予定本文

• Google アカウントのメールアドレス

• Google プロフィール情報

• Google Contacts の連絡先

• ブラウザの閲覧履歴

• 閲覧したWebサイトのURL

• クリップボードに既に保存されている内容

現在、Calendar Free Time が空き時間の判定に使用するのは、Google Calendar のメインカレンダーのみです。

3. Google アカウント認証

Calendar Free Time は、Chrome Identity API を使用して、Chrome にログインしている Google アカウントの OAuth 認証を行います。

取得した OAuth アクセストークンは、Google Calendar FreeBusy API へのアクセスにのみ使用します。

Calendar Free Time は、OAuth アクセストークンを拡張機能独自の永続ストレージへ保存しません。アクセストークンのキャッシュや管理は Chrome Identity API によって行われます。

Calendar Free Time が Google アカウントのパスワードを取得または保存することはありません。

4. 情報の利用目的

Calendar Free Time が取り扱う情報は、以下の目的にのみ使用します。

• Google Calendar の予定が入っている時間帯を確認するため

• 指定された期間と時間帯から空き時間を計算するため

• 指定された最低空き時間より短い候補を除外するため

• 空き時間を日付ごとに整理して表示するため

• 選択された出力形式で空き時間を整形するため

• 選択されたIANAタイムゾーンへ空き時間を変換するため

• タイムゾーン変換に伴う日付変更やサマータイムを適切に処理するため

• Chrome を開いている間、ユーザーが選択した出力形式、出力タイムゾーン、タイムゾーン表示設定を維持するため

• ユーザーが明示的にコピー操作を行った場合に、生成された空き時間テキストをクリップボードへ書き込むため

これらの情報を、広告、ユーザーのプロファイリング、行動追跡、その他本拡張機能の単一用途と関係のない目的には使用しません。

5. Google API との通信

Calendar Free Time は、Google アカウントの認証および Google Calendar の空き状況取得のために、Google のサービスと直接通信します。

主に以下の目的で Google API を使用します。

• Google OAuth による認証

• Google Calendar FreeBusy API による予定が入っている時間帯の取得

Google API から受け取った情報は、Calendar Free Time の拡張機能内で空き時間を計算するために処理されます。

タイムゾーン検索やタイムゾーン変換のために、外部のタイムゾーンサービスや第三者APIへデータを送信することはありません。

6. 情報の保存と保持

Calendar Free Time は、以下の情報を拡張機能独自の永続ストレージへ保存しません。

• Google Calendar から取得した予定が入っている時間帯

• 計算された空き時間

• OAuth アクセストークン

• 開始日と終了日

• 1日の開始時刻と終了時刻

• 最低空き時間の設定

• タイムゾーン検索欄へ入力した文字列

• タイムゾーン検索結果

• クリップボードへ書き込んだ空き時間テキスト

これらの情報は、機能を実行するために必要な範囲で一時的に処理されます。Popup を閉じるなどして処理状態が終了した後も、Calendar Free Time がこれらの情報を独自に蓄積することはありません。

一方、Chrome を開いている間の操作性を維持するため、以下の3つの設定のみを chrome.storage.session に一時的に保存します。

• 選択した出力形式

• 選択した出力タイムゾーン

• タイムゾーン表示設定

これらの設定は Chrome のメモリ上のセッションストレージにのみ保持され、ブラウザを再起動すると消去されます。

Calendar Free Time は、これらの設定を chrome.storage.local、chrome.storage.sync、Local Storage、IndexedDB などの永続ストレージへ保存しません。

Google Calendar から取得した予定が入っている時間帯、計算された空き時間、OAuth アクセストークンなどを chrome.storage.session に保存することもありません。

7. 情報の共有および第三者への提供

Calendar Free Time は、Google OAuth および Google Calendar FreeBusy API を利用するために Google のサービスと通信します。

一方で、Google Calendar から取得した情報や計算された空き時間を、Calendar Free Time の開発者が運営するサーバーやデータベースへ送信することはありません。

また、これらの情報を以下の目的または第三者へ提供しません。

• 広告配信事業者

• アナリティクスサービス

• データブローカー

• 広告ターゲティング

• リターゲティング

• ユーザープロファイリング

• データの販売

Calendar Free Time には、開発者が運営するバックエンドサーバーまたはユーザーデータ保存用データベースはありません。

8. 広告・アクセス解析・テレメトリ

Calendar Free Time は、以下の機能を使用していません。

• 広告

• パーソナライズ広告

• アクセス解析

• テレメトリ

• 行動追跡

• リターゲティング

• ユーザーデータの販売

9. クリップボード

Calendar Free Time は、ユーザーが「コピー」ボタンを明示的に押した場合にのみ、生成された空き時間テキストをクリップボードへ書き込みます。

Calendar Free Time は、クリップボードに既に保存されている内容を読み取りません。

クリップボードへ書き込まれるのは、Calendar Free Time が生成した空き時間テキストのみです。

10. Google API Services User Data Policy

Calendar Free Time による Google API から取得した情報の利用および他のアプリへの転送は、Google API Services User Data Policy に従います。

Google API から受け取ったユーザーデータの利用は、Calendar Free Time がユーザーに提供する空き時間確認・整理・タイムゾーン変換機能の提供に必要な目的に限定し、Google API Services User Data Policy の Limited Use requirements に従います。

また、Calendar Free Time は Chrome Web Store User Data Policy に従ってユーザーデータを取り扱います。

11. セキュリティ

Calendar Free Time は、取り扱う情報を機能提供に必要な範囲へ限定するよう設計されています。

本拡張機能では、Google Calendar の予定詳細ではなく FreeBusy 情報のみを利用し、Google Calendar へのアクセスには FreeBusy 機能に必要な範囲へ限定した OAuth scope を使用します。

また、Calendar Free Time は Google Calendar の情報を開発者が運営するサーバーへ送信せず、OAuth アクセストークンを拡張機能独自の永続ストレージへ保存しません。

ユーザー設定についても、Chrome セッション中に必要な3つの設定のみを chrome.storage.session に一時保存し、Google Calendar のデータやOAuthアクセストークンの保存には使用しません。

ただし、インターネット上の通信やソフトウェアについて絶対的な安全性を保証するものではありません。

12. ユーザーによる管理

Google アカウントに付与した Calendar Free Time のアクセス権限は、Google アカウントの設定から確認または取り消すことができます。

アクセス権限を取り消した場合、Calendar Free Time は Google Calendar の空き状況を取得できなくなります。

出力形式、出力タイムゾーン、タイムゾーン表示設定として chrome.storage.session に保持されている設定は、Chrome を再起動すると消去されます。

13. 本プライバシーポリシーの変更

Calendar Free Time の機能変更、利用するAPIや権限の変更、関連する法令・ポリシーの変更などに伴い、本プライバシーポリシーを変更する場合があります。

重要な変更がある場合は、本ページの内容および最終更新日を更新します。

Privacy Policy for Calendar Free Time

Calendar Free Time is a Chrome extension that uses Google Calendar availability information to calculate available time within a date range and daily time window selected by the user, organize the results according to the selected output format and time zone, and present them as easy-to-read and copyable text.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Calendar Free Time accesses or processes, how that information is used, and how it is stored and shared.

1. Information We Access or Process

Calendar Free Time processes the following information only as necessary to provide its functionality:

• An OAuth access token obtained through Google authentication

• Start and end times of busy periods from the primary Google Calendar

• The start and end dates selected by the user

• The daily start and end times selected by the user

• The minimum availability duration selected by the user

• The browser's current time-zone information

• The output time zone selected by the user

• The output format selected by the user

• The time-zone display preference selected by the user

• Availability calculated from the information above

• Availability text written to the clipboard when the user explicitly chooses to copy it

Calendar Free Time uses the Google Calendar FreeBusy API to retrieve calendar availability information.

Output time zones are represented using IANA time-zone identifiers and are used to convert availability into the time zone selected by the user.

2. Information We Do Not Access

Calendar Free Time is not designed to retrieve the contents of Google Calendar events.

The extension does not access:

• Event titles

• Event descriptions

• Attendee information

• Event locations

• Google Meet or other meeting URLs

• Event body content

• Google Account email addresses

• Google profile information

• Google Contacts

• Browsing history

• URLs of websites visited

• Existing clipboard contents

Calendar Free Time currently uses only the primary Google Calendar when determining availability.

3. Google Account Authentication

Calendar Free Time uses the Chrome Identity API to authenticate the Google Account signed in to Chrome.

The OAuth access token obtained through this process is used only to access the Google Calendar FreeBusy API.

Calendar Free Time does not store OAuth access tokens in extension-controlled persistent storage. Token caching and management are handled by the Chrome Identity API.

Calendar Free Time does not access or store Google Account passwords.

4. How Information Is Used

Information processed by Calendar Free Time is used only to:

• Retrieve busy periods from Google Calendar

• Calculate availability within the selected date range and daily time window

• Exclude availability shorter than the minimum duration selected by the user

• Organize available time by date

• Format availability using the selected output preset

• Convert availability to the selected IANA time zone

• Correctly handle date changes and daylight-saving-time transitions resulting from time-zone conversion

• Preserve the selected output format, output time zone, and time-zone display preference while Chrome remains open

• Write generated availability text to the clipboard when the user explicitly selects the Copy action

The information is not used for advertising, profiling, behavioral tracking, or other purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose.

5. Communication with Google APIs

Calendar Free Time communicates directly with Google services for Google Account authentication and Google Calendar availability requests.

Google APIs are used primarily for:

• Google OAuth authentication

• Retrieving busy periods through the Google Calendar FreeBusy API

Information received from Google APIs is processed within the extension to calculate availability.

Calendar Free Time does not send data to external time-zone services or third-party APIs for time-zone searching or conversion.

6. Data Storage and Retention

Calendar Free Time does not store the following information in extension-controlled persistent storage:

• Busy periods retrieved from Google Calendar

• Calculated availability

• OAuth access tokens

• Selected date ranges

• Selected daily start and end times

• Minimum availability settings

• Time-zone search queries

• Time-zone search results

• Availability text written to the clipboard

This information is processed temporarily as necessary to provide the requested functionality. Calendar Free Time does not independently retain this information after the relevant extension state has ended, such as when the popup is closed.

To preserve user preferences while Chrome remains open, Calendar Free Time temporarily stores only the following three settings in chrome.storage.session:

• The selected output format

• The selected output time zone

• The time-zone display preference

These preferences are held only in Chrome's in-memory session storage and are cleared when the browser restarts.

Calendar Free Time does not store these preferences in chrome.storage.local, chrome.storage.sync, Local Storage, IndexedDB, or other persistent extension storage.

Google Calendar busy periods, calculated availability, OAuth access tokens, and other Calendar data are not stored in chrome.storage.session.

7. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Calendar Free Time communicates with Google services as necessary for Google OAuth authentication and Google Calendar FreeBusy requests.

Calendar information and calculated availability are not sent to servers or databases operated by the developer of Calendar Free Time.

Calendar Free Time does not provide this information to:

• Advertising platforms

• Analytics services

• Data brokers

• Advertising targeting services

• Retargeting services

• User profiling services

Calendar Free Time does not sell user data.

There is no developer-operated backend server or user-data database used by Calendar Free Time.

8. Advertising, Analytics, and Telemetry

Calendar Free Time does not use:

• Advertising

• Personalized advertising

• Analytics

• Telemetry

• Behavioral tracking

• Retargeting

• Sale of user data

9. Clipboard Access

Calendar Free Time writes generated availability text to the clipboard only when the user explicitly presses the Copy button.

Calendar Free Time does not read existing clipboard contents.

Only availability text generated by Calendar Free Time is written to the clipboard.

10. Google API Services User Data Policy

Calendar Free Time's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

The use of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing the availability calculation, organization, and time-zone conversion functionality requested by the user and complies with the Limited Use requirements of the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Calendar Free Time also handles user data in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy.

11. Security

Calendar Free Time is designed to limit access to information to what is necessary for its functionality.

The extension uses Google Calendar FreeBusy information rather than retrieving event details and uses a Google Calendar OAuth scope limited to the access required for FreeBusy functionality.

Calendar Free Time does not send Google Calendar information to developer-operated servers and does not store OAuth access tokens in extension-controlled persistent storage.

For user preferences, Calendar Free Time temporarily stores only the three settings needed during the Chrome session in chrome.storage.session. Google Calendar data and OAuth access tokens are not stored there.

However, no software or internet communication method can guarantee absolute security.

12. User Controls

Users can review or revoke Calendar Free Time's access to their Google Account through their Google Account settings.

If access is revoked, Calendar Free Time will no longer be able to retrieve Google Calendar availability information.

The output format, output time zone, and time-zone display preference temporarily stored in chrome.storage.session are cleared when Chrome restarts.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to Calendar Free Time, the APIs or permissions it uses, or applicable policies and legal requirements.

When material changes are made, this page and the Last updated date will be updated accordingly.
