Today, July 9, 2025, the BISCAST-Supreme Student Council conducted a courtesy meeting with the SUC President II, Prof. Charlie P. Nacario, PhD, at the Office of the President. 

The Council led by their President, Hon. John Dale Dominic Verdadero facilitated a formal dialogue between the Council and Dr. Nacario, highlighting student concerns and future plans of the council.

Yesterday, July 18, 2026 (Saturday), the BISCAST Supreme Student Council 16th Legislative Branch held its first general session at the SSC Office, where they elected the New House Speaker and Legislative Branch Officers.

The election was led by the former Deputy Secretary General of the 15th Legislative Branch, Ms. Maeia Kayle D. Lioc. Under her supervision, Hon. Eulaiza Gen Curba was elected as the new House Speaker.

The 15th Legislative Branch formally concludes its term of service, spanning from the inaugural session held on June 28, 2025—which covered the election of officers and official oath-taking ceremony—to the final adjournment sine die during its 57th Regular Meeting on July 16, 2026.

The Gender-Responsive Student Dress Code Policy has been officially approved during the 49th Regular BOT Meeting held on July 16, 2025, at Bicol University. Set to take effect in A.Y. 2025–2026, the policy allows students to wear uniforms aligned with their gender identity, including the option to cross-dress within prescribed standards.
