2022 was a big year for Assemble, with growth in nearly every programming area!
In 2022, Assemble served 1,776 youth in total; a 27% increase from 2021.
Assemble was able to offer more consistent programming and start getting back to a “new normal” in 2022, following the challenges of running programs amidst a public health crisis in the years prior.
This trend was especially noticeable with Assemble’s onsite programming. While the number of youth served offsite in 2021 and 2022 was similar at around 900 total each year, the number of youth served onsite almost doubled, reaching nearly 1,000 in 2022!

We also saw huge growth in Make and Takes, distributing over 3,000 projects to makers in the community—nearly four times the amount distributed in 2021!
2022 also saw the start of the Ramp Up Fellowship, an opportunity for young, local teaching artists.
