Electives
Aspen Ridge Public School offers a variety of exciting electives for middle schoolers to explore beyond their core classes! Students can choose from Leadership, where they can build confidence and teamwork skills, Service Learning, which combines community service with real-world learning, Art for creative expression, English Success and Math Success to strengthen foundational skills, and Self-Directed Learning, where students pursue independent projects based on their interests. These electives are designed to enrich students' educational experience and help them develop both academically and personally.
Extra Curricular Opportunities
At Aspen Ridge Public School, we offer a wide range of exciting extracurricular opportunities for our middle schoolers! Students can join sports teams like volleyball and basketball, participate in clubs such as LaunchPad, yearbook, Dungeons & Dragons, art, cosmetology, anime, chess, and many more. We also offer unique programs like Leadership, Sunshine Club, Leader In Me, and Community Schools, allowing students to develop skills, form friendships, and engage with their community. There’s something for everyone at Aspen Ridge!
Academic Counseling and Socio/Emotional Lessons
Aspen Ridge Public School believes that social emotional learning is essential for our students. Our middle schoolers expand their social emotional skills through a variety of lessons provided by SecondStep, Ridge's Counselors, and Leader In Me.
