Private Universities and
Vocational Institutions

Private Universities

Private Universities are located throughout California and beyond. Additionally, Universities outside of California can be considered Private Universities. This is because Private Universities typically have a higher tuition and if a student decides to attend a University outside of their home state, they will not receive in-state tuition or the same amount of financial aid. 

Vocational Institutions

Vocational Institutions are typically short-term (12-18 months) schooling. This type of schooling is typically expensive. Since it is less than 2 years long, students tend to receive less financial aid than they would have received elsewhere. The professions offered are Vocational Professions such as Nail Technicians, Hair and Make Up Technicians, Barbers, HVAC Technicians, Medical Assistants, Dental Assistants, LVN's, etc.
