Schedule:

January: Let's talk about, "Talking About Sex"

From hookups to long-term relationships there needs to be a way to talk about what we want, desire, and need during sexual or kink connections. Angel will provide the foundations for this type of communication, and there is a roleplay portion for folk to use the framework, get feedback, and give feedback.

February Sexual Health: Sexual health is so important!  This month we are exploring birth control, STI prevention, STI testing, and practicing with various barriers, as well as role-playing important sexual health conversations.

March: Flirting 101 This month we are going to learn the difference between flirting for fun, flirting for intent, harassment, and playful banter. The in-house event is a fun, fast-paced flirting roleplay.

April: Different Sex Drives can be a challenge to navigate in relationships. Our April group is all about sex drives, and navigating those differences. Our In-house event has some activities to address our angst when our partner doesn't want sex as much as we do.

May Consent This month we are learning about consent, not just how to recognize if someone is or isn't agreeing to contact with us, but also how to give a clear yes or no, and what to do if our boundaries are not being respected.

June: Gender and Sexuality In honour of Pride month, we are exploring gender, and sexuality, and role-playing how to talk and when to talk about these topics.Consent

September: Dating and Friendship: We will explore dating, what that looks like, how to behave, and what to expect while on a date.  We will role-play different dating scenarios and how to advocate for support to engage in dating.

October: Monogamy and Non-exclusivity.  This month we are learning about various relationship frameworks, how to navigate them, and role-playing how to have those conversations.

November: Photo Sharing, Internet Dating, and more: In today's world we often start our romantic relationships online! This month's meeting will explore the laws and etiquette for online dating, photo sharing, and more!

December: Kink, Consent, and Fantasies:  Talking about our desires can be tricky, and this month we are going to explore how to create safety in our relationships to have open and honest conversations about our interests (and to hear our partner talk about theirs) and how to find information on how to explore our fantasies safely.
