-explain the impact of the project on themselves or their learning

-evaluate the product based on the success criteria.

In this section, students report on why they did their project and rate their product using their success criteria from Criterion A.

Students should:

  • explain the impact of the project on themselves and/or their learning.

  • provide detailed examples with specific evidence on how completing the project caused them to gain new insights about themselves / as a learner

  • analyze the quality of the product against all the stated criteria.

  • provide a detailed evaluation by looking at the strengths and weaknesses (areas of development) of their product based on their success criteria

You:

• could refer to any aspect of having done the project: inquiry, action and/or reflection

• could include progress made towards the learning goal

• could include ways in which you have grown as a learner, such as improvement in the ATL skills or learner profile attributes

• could include ways in which you have grown or changed as a result of the project (Ex: Are you a vegetarian now that you did this research? Has it helped you in how you will learn in the future?)
