Hey there, MYP 1 parents! Welcome to the start of a fantastic journey for your child. In the Middle Years Programme (MYP), we're building on the foundation from the Primary Years Programme (PYP), moving toward more independent, inquiry-based learning. MYP 1 is the first year of this five-year program, designed to challenge students to think critically and connect what they're learning to the real world. Your child will explore global contexts, develop key approaches to learning (ATL) skills like communication and self-management, and engage with all eight subject groups, including arts, design, and physical and health education. We aim to help students become caring, knowledgeable, and principled young people who are prepared for the challenges of the future. We're excited to partner with you and support your child as they grow into a more confident and globally-minded learner.
