Citing Sources

It is important that you always cite your sources.  Anytime you use an idea that is not your own, you should cite its source! Here at AHS, you should use MLA style to cite the sources you use in your work.  The following resources will help you use MLA correctly:

 

 

EasyBib is an automatic bibliography composer.  Use this tool to create accurrate citations easily and quickly.  EasyBib helps to ensure your citations are formatted correctly, whether you automatically generate the citation or enter the information yourself.  They also have extensive citation guides if you want to create citations on your own. 

 

 

 

 

The Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL) provides extensive research and citation guidance.  Purdue OWL's MLA Style Guide details everything you need to know about using MLA.  How do you create in-text citations?  How should you format your Works Cited page?  How do you cite a movie or interview?  Whatever your question, Purdue OWL has your answer!
