Our Mission
The SAHS Peer Mentorship Program is a group of students who are dedicated to help incoming students be comfortable within our school community! We enjoy helping people feel at home and try our best to inspire people to become more involved in our school. Our goal is to welcome, encourage, and support our South Anchorage High School community!
Our main goals are to connect with students before their high school experience begins, host activities that teach and build teamwork through out the year, and to mentor students one on one to help them learn the unspoken rules of high school.
More about us
The SAHS Peer Mentorship class received a grant for the 2018-2019 school year, and put it to use by creating and hosting a community space for all student at South.
Our program has been awarded this grant yet again for the 2019-2020 school year! We are excited to have the opportunity to spread our mission even further this year.
