Summer Practice!

Dear Student's and Parents,

I hope you have a great summer! Here are some practice hints:

• Schedule a time for practice each day.

• Check your posture in the mirror occasionally to be sure it is correct. (Wrist straight, open window, fingers curved, pinky on the bow, relaxed feeling)

• Give mini concerts for family and friends.

• Try some new music, not just your old favorites. (see below)

• Call a friend from class and practice together.

• Listen to string music on youtube, or KLEF 98.1FM.

• Prepare for the Junior Youth Symphony Auditions that are in September. The audition music is below.

• Try taking private lessons from one of the instructors on the teacher list:
