Concert Dress Code: "Concert Black"

All black clothing. Black shoes, socks, pants or dress, shirt and/or jacket. 

Cake Auction Oct. 22, Mears MPR 7PM All the orchestra, choir, and band students will perform. An auctioneer will auction off beautiful cakes. There will be a bake sale and silent auction. All proceeds go to funding the Mears Music Program. 

WINTER CONCERT December 16, 7-8PM at the Mears MPR. This concert will feature classical and Holiday music.  Wear concert black. You can add holiday ties, scarves, reindeer antlers, etc. 

Music Assembly December TBA, 9AM Mears MPR The Advanced Orchestra, Choir, and Band will play for the whole school! Wear concert black. You can add holiday ties, scarves, reindeer antlers, etc. 

All-City Orchestra Auditions October 19-23 at Bartlett High School. 6:00-8:30 PM  Play in an orchestra with the best musicians from every school!!!! The final concert is on Dec. 12 at West High School.

Elementary Bus Tour "TBA" All day This is our favorite concert of the year! On this field trip we will perform at three elementary schools. Then we will have lunch at the Dimond Center Food Court. Wear Concert Black. 

Solo and Ensemble Festival Saturday Feb. 5 at First Presbyterian Church during the school day.  Students have the opportunity to perform solos, duets, and trios for judges at this music festival! We will ride a bus there and back.

Dimond/Mears Extravaganza Saturday Feb 20 at the Dimond High Gym(Saturday Morning).  Come hear the amazing orchestra talent for grades 6-12!

ASD Large Group Festival April 6, 6:00PM West High School All middle school orchestras will perform for judges at this event. Wear Concert Black.

Spring Concert May 20, 7PM The Advanced and Intermediate orchestra show off all they learned this year.
