6th Grade Concert Calendar

Concert Dress Code: "Concert Black"

All black clothing. Black shoes, socks, pants or dress, shirt and/or jacket. 

First Two Weeks of School. This will be a time for students to select their instrument. The choices for orchestra class are violin, viola, cello, or bass. I will demonstrate these instruments for them, and we will begin to learn to read music notation.

First Day with instruments!!!!!! September 8th  Very exciting! Most of the students will have their instruments, and we will start to play them in class. 

WINTER CONCERT  TBD at the Mears MPR. This concert will feature classical and Holiday music. Wear concert black. You can add holiday ties, scarves, reindeer antlers, etc. 

Dimond Extravaganza  Feb 20 at the Dimond High Gym (Saturday Morning).  We will play a joint concert with the Amazing Dimond High Orchestra!

Spring Concert May 13, 7PM at the Mears MPR.
