The "staff" of The Bear Bean wants to take a minute to tell you THANK YOU for all of your support of The Bear Bean this school year! We have loved serving you coffee and hot chocolate while learning a LOT of Job Skills along the way! We hope to be back next year with some new menu items, per lots of requests! :)
Here are some pictures from our last couple weeks in The Bear Bean!
The magic starts on Tuesdays during 4th block when students write the labels from your orders. The labels get color coded based on their sugar and syrup preferences.
Then comes Wednesday.....
First, the labels go on the sleeve, and the sleeve goes on the cup!
Next, someone reads the label to put the correct K-Cup out for the coffee maker!
The coffee makers get the cup next and they use the Keurigs to make the coffee.
Then it's onto the cream station. Students read the label and put the correct amount of cream into each cup.
Sugar comes next. The sugar is color coded to help students quickly differentiate between sugar and splenda.
The last to be added is the syrup. These are also color coded to help with efficiency and accuracy.
Once everything is in, it goes to the stirrer...who also puts the lids on tight for you!
And then onto the cart that delivers to your door!
We may be biased, but we think we have the best delivery crew in the world!!
